Summary
The effects of PEG linker length on the cellular interactions of folic acid (FA)-targeted dendron micelles (DMs) were evaluated using a combination of confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) and flow cytometry. The choice of PEG linker length was found to dramatically affect the cellular interactions of DMs ranging from minimal to over 20-fold compared to nontargeted DMs. The ability to tune the cellular interactions of the DMs through modulation of the PEG corona demonstrates their potential as a drug delivery platform.
