In 2018 the Australian Chapter hosted the first Controlled Release Asia meeting, co-organised and supported by Core-NET and regional Chapters of the Controlled Release Society. The meeting brought together controlled release and delivery scientists across all fields of delivery science and technology. Scientists and industry representatives from the consumer products, agricultural delivery, fragrance, coatings and drug delivery fields to name a few will come together to share new developments in their field and to enhance their networks. Abstracts were strongly encouraged from outside the drug delivery field, to ensure a balanced program.
