The role of the mentor is to facilitate personal and professional development of the protégé. The mentor achieves this by being a guide and friend, who encourages and counsels when it is required. In essence, the mentor provides a synergistic function to the teacher and research guide. The role of a mentor is not to lead but to facilitate confidence in the protégé, to support and add perspective to their ideas and ambitions.

How to Enroll
The 2017-2018 Mentorship Year has begun. To join the program for the 2017-2018 year, please sign up when registering for the 2018 Annual Meeting. Those registered will receive applications for acceptance into the program.
