Faheem Maqbool is a PhD Candidate at School of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Australia Canter of Excellence, The University of Queensland Australia, under Joint supervison of Dr James R. Falconer and Dr Peter M. Moyle. He works on the development of green method for the manufacture of liposomes using supercritical fluid technology. Further, he is working on functionalizing liposomes, using targeting ligands i.e. conjugating peptides for active targeting of cancer cells for enhanced intracellular uptake and improved cancer therapy. Faheem received his Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Government College University Faisalabad, Pakistan in 2013. He has worked as research assistant (2014-2016) at School of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Centre, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran. The output of his research work has led to many publications, conference presentations and awards. Beside this, Faheem loves playing cricket, travelling and cooking.
