Jamie (Yuen Yi) Lam obtained her Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science (Advanced with Honours) degree in 2018. She is now a first year PhD candidate at Monash University, Australia. Her project aims to understand the mechanisms of metabolically labelling the intestinal tissues using unnatural sugars, and the application of click chemistry to achieve site- specific delivery of nanoparticles or probiotics to the intestine. Outside of research, she is also acting as the Educational Officer of the faculty Postgraduate Association and the student
representative of the Monash Graduate Research Committee. She enjoys travelling, reading and rock climbing in her free time.
