Dr. Marwa Sallam obtained her PhD in pharmaceutical sciences from the faculty of pharmacy Alexandria University, Egypt. She had several postdoctoral research visits including university of Granda, Spain, polymer therapeutics lab at CIPF, Valencia, Spain, and the school of pharmacy Geneve Lausanne (EPGL) Switzerland. She was a Fulbright postdoctoral scholar at John A. Paulson school of engineering Harvard university and currently she is a senior research associate at the school of engineering Brown University. Her research focuses on the design of translatable biomaterial-based micro & nano delivery systems for the targeted delivery of therapeutics for autoimmune inflammatory diseases and cancer.
