Max Regenold is currently a PhD Student at the University of Toronto working in Dr. Christine Allen’s
group. He previously completed his Pharmacy training at the University of Freiburg and holds a German
Pharmacist licence. Max works on the development of thermosensitive liposome formulations of
common anti-cancer drugs as triggered drug delivery vehicles. With this approach he aims to improve
the therapeutic index of these drugs and ultimately the care of cancer patients. Outside the lab, Max is a
passionate cyclist training for and competing in local mountain bike races. He is very excited to join the
Young Scientist Committee and work together with such an amazing group of people from all around the
world.
