Sarah S. Nasr obtained her B.Sc. and M. Pharm. Sci from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University, Egypt and went on to become a Ph.D. student at the Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland through a full PhD Scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education Egypt in 2018, which she obtained in 2022. She focused on the development of protein/peptide and proteoid based carriers for nucleic acid vaccine delivery as the main theme of her doctoral thesis. Her current work focuses on the development of nanocarriers for co-delivery of varying polynucleotide species as well as pulmonary nuceic acid delivery.
