Vibhuti Agrahari received her Ph.D. in pharmaceutics and drug design from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, USA and M. Pharm. in medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry from Shri G.S. Institute of Technology and Sciences, India. Her research focused on the nanoformulations development for long-term ocular delivery of large and small-molecule drugs. She worked on NIH and pharmaceutical industries funded projects and her research work is recognized with several research awards in the national and international meetings. She has one US patent, co-authored several peer-reviewed articles and appointed as special theme issue editor for various scientific journals. Currently, Vibhuti is working as assistant professor of biopharmaceutical sciences at Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy, Shenandoah University, USA. Vibhuti enjoys working with the student organization and volunteering for community services with several professional and non-profit organizations. Presently, she is serving as an advisor for the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) at the BJD School of Pharmacy. During first year of her academic career, Vibhuti received faculty development grant from Shenandoah University and Bernard J. Dunn faculty research award at the School of Pharmacy. She strongly believes in promoting academic excellence in learning environments that are inclusive of teaching, scholarship activities, research, community services and leadership roles. Outside her professional responsibilities, she loves spending time with her family and enjoys nature.
