Vítor Gaspar is a Junior Researcher in the COMPASS Research group, CICECO – Aveiro Institute of Materials, Chemistry Department of University of Aveiro. He has focused his interests on the development of nano/micro polymeric systems for controlled delivery of cells and bioactive molecules. Currently his research comprises the precision chemical modification of biomimetic biomaterials for cells and therapeutics delivery, as well as the bottom-up engineering of cell-biomaterial living 3D microtissues for tissue engineering and in vitro disease modelling.
