Bryan Wender Debiasi

Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT) (2018) and a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences at UFMT (2019–2021),

Bryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT) (2018) and a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences at UFMT (2019–2021), where he specialized in nanostructured systems and pharmacotechnics, establishing the foundation for his research in advanced drug delivery. Currently, Bryan is a PhD student at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, focusing on liquid-crystalline nanodispersions for mRNA delivery as a novel approach to gene-based vaccination. His work has advanced lipid-based nanocarrier design, particularly ionizable lipids for improved RNA encapsulation, intracellular delivery, and modulation of immunogenic responses. He conducts his research at the Laboratório NanoGeneSkin (USP-Ribeirão Preto, Brazil) under the supervision of Professor Maria Vitória Lopes Badra Bentley. Bryan has so far published over 10 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and contributed to more than 40 conference presentations, earning six awards for his scientific contributions. He actively participates in the Brazilian Local Chapter of the Controlled Release Society (CRS), serving as a Young Scientist Committee Member (2024–2027) and an Academic Representative of the Gene Delivery and Gene Editing Focal Group (2024–2025). In these roles, he fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, mentors early-career scientists, and advances drug delivery innovation. As a dedicated CRS member and part of the Young Scientist Committee (YSC), Bryan is committed to growing the drug delivery community and inspiring the next generation of researchers through professional and personal support.
