Amy Ellie Arnold joined CRS in 2016. She is a Ph.D. student in the Shoichet lab at the University of Toronto, Canada. She currently holds the Alexander Graham Bell NSERC CGSD award. Her background is in chemistry, and she is currently developing a system to deliver antisense therapeutics to glioblastoma stem cells. She is passionate about finding ways to apply her chemistry background to biological problems and making a difference in the treatment of glioblastoma. Eventually, she would like to have a career combining chemistry, biology, and business as a health science/biotechnology consultant. In her own time, Ellie loves horseback riding and cuddling with her two cats.
